Registration – All registration will be on-line (closing Nov. 3rd or sooner); there will be no on-site race-day registration.
100 Mile Start Time – The start time of the 100 Mile on Nov. 7th has been moved up 1/2 hour, to 6:30am, to facilitate spreading runners out more.
Nordic Trailhead Shelter – All WI state park indoor shelters are still closed, and we will not have use of the shelter this year. This means that there will be no indoor space for you to hang out in before, during, or after the race. We will have a tent at the start/finish area for check-in and the manned aid station, but there will not be room inside for runners to take extended breaks; you will need to do that at your own area, outside, or in your vehicle. Also, please note that spectators and crew will need to remain outside of this tent. As in the past, we will have firewood for the fire ring near the start/finish.
Spectators/Crew –Spectators and crew can
attend the race, but they will not be allowed in the check-in/aid station
area. As a reminder, crew and spectators
are not allowed at the unmanned aid station.
Masks – A mask will be required inside the
tent at check-in; masks are not required while outside or on the course (with
proper distancing), but please carry something during the race (buff, bandana,
etc.) that can be used when distancing cannot be maintained. Runners must also bring all of their own personal
care products, such as sanitizer, wipes, lube, sunscreen, etc.
Health Issues – Everyone should be monitoring their health for signs and symptoms of illness (fever, cough, sore throat, etc.). If you become ill the week of the race, please do not attend; notify me of the situation, and your entry will be deferred to 2021.
Aid Stations - The variety of food available at the AS will be less than in the past, with as much packaged, single-serve items as possible; we will not have typical finger foods such as pickles, potatoes, etc. This is a tentative list of what we will have (there will be hot foods as well during the night):
Water, Heed, Soda
Hammer Gel, Endurolytes, Fizz
PB&J, Turkey Wraps
Bananas, Grapes
Potato Chips, Pretzels, PB Crackers
Cookies (variety), Fruit Snacks, Candy (variety of fun size)
Cupless AS - The race will be “cupless”, meaning we will not have pre-filled paper cups sitting out. Please bring your own bottle/cup to carry during the race; if you do not have one, we will provide a reusable, collapsible cup curtesy of Hammer Nutrition.
